Tasty Popsicle Giveaway

If you have read my blog before, you know I have a affair with ice cream.

At this time of the year, when I have added a couple of extra pounds fromt he holidays, it's kind of a love/hate relationship.  I love the taste, I hate the fat and calories .

I'm not the only one that feels that way either.  According to a recent survey commissioned by Popsicle

* 3 in 4 moms agree it's a challenge to find desserts and snacks the kids enjoy that are not bad for them
* 60% of moms agree it's tough to find desserts and snacks that satisfy both their kids and themselves

When the frosty box of Fudgsicle and Klondike products made its way to the equally frosty destination of our home, I was elated .  (I know you are all wondering why I enjoy frozen snacks in winter when I live in the frozen northern plains!)

The Fudgsicle Triple Chocoate Low Fat Bars were an instant hit in our home.

Both Amber and I decided the White Chocolate was the best.  Hubby was glad he didn't have to share the Dark Chocolate with anyone.  The Milk Chocolate vairety, while no one's first choice, still got eaten.  With no complaints, I might add.

The Triple Chocolate Bars are smooth and great tasting.  If you weren't told they were only 60 calories a piece, you certainly wouldn't be aware of that from the taste.  They are the perfect size when you have that craving for ice cream or something sweet, but don't want too much.

The Klondike 100 Calorie Sandwiches, are mighty tasty too.  They are on the smaller size than a typical ice cream sandwich, but that makes them easier for little hands to hold, and again you can enjoy this snack without feeling guilty that you over indulged.

The consistency and flavors in the cookie portion of the sandwich are just right.  A hint of spice and the flavor of the chocolate and you've got yourself the complimentary wrapping to the vanilla or chocolate ice cream inside.

Popsicle also offers sugar free pops in Tropical Flavors, for those who would prefer a fruit fix rather than a chocolate one.  What a great way to bring a bit of the sunshine into your home during the winter.

Amber has already asked me to buy the Triple Chocolate Bars again, since we're all out of the White Chocolate ones.  Of course it's a request I'm happy to oblige since I'd rather she indulge in one of those than in chips or candy.

My son and I can not live without the Firecracker popsicles. You know, they had them at one time sugar free. But I can't find them anymore, they were not even on their site. (the sugar free ones) My son could live off of popsicles.
